PCTP offers tuition on a sliding scale, and personal payment plans; no child is ever turned away due to lack of financial ability to pay.  Our main focus is to have fun in an exciting & creative atmosphere that promotes learning and self esteem.  Programming includes after-school classes, summer theatre classes, quality children's plays, and outreach programs to local schools; see below for details.  And be sure to check out our current season!

Our next session of theatre arts classes begins soon!

PCTP offers after-school theatre arts classes for kids in grades 1 & 2 or 3-8. All classes are held at The Santa Fe Playhouse.

The Young Actor's Class for grades 3-8 casts EACH CHILD in a STARRING ROLE in the semester's mainstage production, and is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays and some Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 pm.

The Budding Actors' Class for grades 1 & 2 features a student showcase at the end of the semester, and is held on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30 to 5:00 pm.

Our Summer Theatre Session begins mid June and continues through the end of July. The students help create their own characters and plot for a Sizzlin' Summer Sensational Show complete with original songs (they write the lyrics themselves, too) and music! Tuesdays & Thursdays, and some Wednesdays, from 12:30 to 5:00 PM, bring a snack to eat at the River Park. Public performances on the final weekend.

Our mainstage productions feature classic fairy tales, folktales from around the world, and beloved stories from childhood - all original plays written especially for PCTP, with original music and dance. Offered each school semester, Spring and Fall, these shows feature professional adults and kids working together!  (announced shows subject to change at the Director's discretion)
